Mojo Monday: Speak Up For What You Believe In (Matt Damon Does)

It’s Mojo Monday, and as always, I’ve got a little something-something to lift your creative spirits, buoy you up, help you get your mojo on, and nudge (or better yet, catapult) you into writerhead.

Teachers rock.

So does speaking up for what you believe in.

  1. “Maybe you’re a shitty cameraman, I don’t know . . .” love it. I have friends who are teachers, two of whom do not teach anymore – one who tells me some horror stories of her days, but she loves what she does. It ain’t so great when you have to defend who you are and what you do at every turn.

  2. Way to go! I love that he put the reporter in her place. I’m not a teacher right now (although that’s what my degree is in) and I always had to defend my choice. Unfortunately, I have to defend my decision to be a writer even more. Fortunately, I love what I do and have a great job, so it doesn’t really matter.
